Prior to reading The Masters and the Path, I read six other books by C.W. Leadbeater and loved them a lot. However, I have found most of the material in The Masters and the Path rather tedious. It consists for the most part of detailed descriptions of the physical appearance of the Masters, their clothing, their homes, as well as of numerous ceremonies taking place on higher planes. A great book for the followers of the Masters of Wisdom to understand Them and the plan much better. This is one of the suggested pre-requisite read mentioned in Master E.K's (Ekkirala Krishnamacharya) Spiritual Astrology.

A book for which there are no words. Simple, succinct - yes. Also very deep and detailed. Does one have the mind to encompass this work? That is the real question. If you do, or you would like to have a better mind, this book can help.
This book is so wonderful I don't know where to begin. Anyone who is interested in The Ascended Masters, who they are and the steps to be taken to advance oneself on the path of Ascension should read this first hand, real, experiential sourjoin of Leadbeater's encounters and information about these Great Ones. It is masterfully written by the great Adept Charles Leadbeater.
It has completely changed the way I look at morality. I used to think that it was for stuffy old fashioned people, but now see right action as an expression of love for humanity and the world. In this book I also finally found the source of all the spiritual beliefs that I picked up growing up. It's like I finally have a flashlight to see the path that I've been walking all along.
The Leadbeater material and indeed many of the Theosophical Society teachings of a hundred years ago are deeply meaningful if you are seeking metaphysical wisdom. This is a wonderful book and among my treasured possessions. Also look for Anne Besant, and Theosophy, if it resonates with what you are seeking. Also check out the Seth books by Jane Roberts, and the Abraham material by Jerry and Esther Hicks. Life-changing can't even begin to describe it.
If you don't respond to it, just keep looking for meaning in your life and you will find it. Each of us needs to find our own true path. All the best to you.
